Please note if you lose your login details you can go to the admin area and click the 'Forgot Password' link to have the login details automatically emailed to your school email address!

SCHOOL INFORMATION

 

Add New Information Category

    1. Log in and click on the school information module.
    2. Now click on the 'Manage Category' Link on the module menu
    3. Select 'Parent Category' if you wish your category to reside at the top level or select a category already created if you wish to create a sub category.
    4. Fill in the 'Title' & 'Description' areas with your information
    5. Click 'Add' button when you have finished to save.

 

Add New Information to a Category

    1. Log in and click on the 'school information' module.
    2. Now click on the 'Add Information' Link on the module menu
    3. Select which category you would like it to reside in (you can choose multiple categories by holding the Ctrl key down whilst selecting).
    4. Fill in the 'Information Title'
    5. Select 'Content' radio button if you wish to add content. Now type or paste your content in.
      You can also just link to another webpage (Ie www.bbc.co.uk) if you select the 'Web Link' radio button.

    6. If you wish to add searchable related key words such as 'Hols, leave' etc that you may think people will search for you can in the 'Search Keywords' box.
    7. If you want to attach a document such as a pdf or word doc for people to download or view click the 'Browse' button to find the document on your PC.
    8. Make sure the 'Display' radio button is set to show for the item to appear on the site when you click 'Add' button. This allows you to add information to be published at a later date
    9. Click 'Add' button when you have finished to save.

Edit Information

    1. Log in and click on the school information module.
    2. Now click on the 'List Information' Link on the module menu.
    3. Click on the 'Pencil' icon that corresponds with the information you wish to edit.
    4. Edit the information.
    5. Click 'Update' button when you have finished to save.

Delete Information

    1. Log in and click on the school information module.
    2. Now click on the 'List Information' Link on the module menu.
    3. Click on the 'Pencil' icon that corresponds with the information you wish to edit..
    4. Click 'Delete' button when you have finished to remove.
