The school is committed to the firm belief in the importance of the home/school partnership in children’s learning. It is only by working together and knowing each other well that the progress and happiness of the children will be assured. Co-operation between parents and the school is essential.
St. Catherine’s tries to involve parents in their children’s education through:
- Curriculum evenings to explain and show aspects of work to parents.
- Parent/Teacher interviews during the Autumn and Spring Terms, when parents can see their children’s work and talk to the teacher.
- Annual report to parents.
- Individual meetings with parents where appropriate.
- Any parent who is concerned about their child is encouraged to contact the school to arrange a meeting with the Headteacher and/or any member of staff.
- A newsletter is produced each week. A copy is available in school.
